Three to Read, Los Angeles Edition

I am back in sunny L.A. for a month or so, so blogging might be more sporadic. Here, however, are three to read!

A new biography of Frederick the Great has seen some fascinating reviews. This is the best one so far.

A wonderful post on the fascinating economist Joan Robinson. Her legacy, whether in post-Keynesianism or the discussion around the Cambridge Capital Controversies, has been in something of a boomlet. This is a good thing.

A piece on Father Berrigan and how we should remember his Vietname-era activism.
